Shared Space at Coava Coffee

I od'd on pics of Coava Coffee in Portland.  It's an oddly beautiful shop in the front end of an industrial bamboo business.  It's a great example creatively shared space.  It seems to me that many urban spaces could be used more effectively than they currently are.  And this kind of sharing enables many more small businesses to get started.  This is something Sbux couldn't do.  Notice that the Bamboo theme connects the back business end to the front end design of the shop.  And several of the industrial cutting tables and drill presses remain throughout the sitting area of the shop.  The weather was good on this day so the garage door at front was open.  We never know exactly why we like to be in certain spaces.  But I loved being in this space.
